I ordered this dress for a September wedding. Figuring I would have time to have any alteration's done if needed. I ordered the dress last week and got it Monday! Wow! I was so excited I had to try it on. It was a perfect fit! The material is very soft. I agree with the previous post and say to order 1 size up from your normal sizing. I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought this dress for a formal occasion in 2007. I had to get it taken in a little, but otherwise it looked and felt great. I got SO many compliments.

I've lost weight since then and donated the dress to Enchanted Closet, which supports teen girls from low-income families; they collect formal wear and give the dresses away during prom season.
Really, more ladies need to know about Kiyonna's great clothes. I found them through a plus-size boutique near Perimeter Mall in Georgia; unfortunately, the store has since closed.
Lace Dress in Chocolate/Chocolate -- 2009-11-23
When I didn't receive my dress within the specified delivery range, I contacted Kyonna directly. As it turns out, the dress in the color I selected was on backorder until December, beyond the time for the event I needed the dress. Apparently, the manufacturer doesn't update Amazon when items are not in stock, and nobody bothers to notify the consumer. Not good business. I re-selected in another color, and it arrived in time. Customer Service was very helpful. I will be returning the dress, however, as it didn't look good on me and the quality wasn't really up to par for the money. It looked like a cheap peignoir...not really the image of myself I'd like to present at my nephew's wedding!

The dress is beautiful and surprisingly soft, not stiff and itchy as some lace can be. If you carry extra weight in your midriff as I do, order one size up because it's fitted in that area.
The perfect black dress -- 2009-05-04
This dress is the perfect black dress for the curvy woman. Showing just enough skin to be sexy but leaving enough to the imagination to be classy. This dress was exactly what I had been looking for to attend my Nieces wedding. The fit was superb and I was comfortable all evening. The added bonus is that it didn't wrinkle one bit in packing. This dress will be used for a variety of occasions for many years and was well worth every penny.
